The sweet tea tastes like diabetes. So good.
The chicken tenders i got, were HUGE! And tasty. (That’s what she said?)
The mac n cheese was bangin.
The green beans: BANGIN!
The candied yams? BANGINNNNNN!!!! And i don’t even like yams.
I got a huge amount of food for a very reasonable price, i couldn’t even finish it all. It was made right when i ordered it. The guy at the counter was very pleasant and friendly. I can’t wait to go back and try the few other things on their menu! Especially the rest of the sides. It’s a local business with a great story, and even better food. And it’s practically on VCU’s campus. You have to wait a lil bit for them to make the food, but it’s worth it. AND they have call ahead!! I decided on a whim to give them a shot today, and am so glad i did. I will definitely be going back. So check it out!!
That sweet tea though…
Some drunk asshole got a lil too excited about dollar tacos at Little Mexico last night…

They are currently accepting comments on an open forum in regards to the personhood bill and TARP regulations in Virginia until MIDNIGHT TONIGHT!! (Feb 15). MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD!! DON’T JUST BITCH ABOUT IT, MAKE YOUR THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS KNOWN!! Write a comment, and share with someone else!
No bullshit!!
If you made less than $50,000 in 2011, you can get your taxes done for free by this super awesome organization called MetroCASH. There’s a girl in my policy class who’s interning there, and i encourage everyone to check it out!!
Your taxes will be prepared and filled for free, by volunteers and accountants who actually know what they’re doing. Don’t pay too much or get scammed while you’re doing your taxes, and have the security of knowing a real person prepared your taxes rather than some website. There are sites all over the city.
FORREAL THOUGH!! IT’S FREE!! YOU’D BE CRAZY NOT TO DO IT!!
Spread the word Richmond. Check out their website here. Get yo money!!

WELL YOU GUYS!!! THERE YOU GO!!
It’s tax time, and if you’re like me you don’t know ANYTHING about taxes but still need to file them. If you’re also like me, you made jack squat last year and THE GOVERNMENT OWES YOU MONEY!!! Turbo tax is cool and all, BUT at the end of the day who do you trust? An alleged “free” website that asks you yes or no questions or an actual human being with accounting and tax experience??
In all seriousness though CHECK OUT METRO CASH!!! It’s a fantastic organization that does FREE tax preparation for anyone who earned less than $50,000 in 2011, and they have multiple VITA sites around the city. Visit their website at www.metrocash.org for more info, locations, and volunteer opportunities!!
Also, i am currently waiting for my W-2 to arrive. BUT i’ll plug it at Rubicon, particularly with the transitions counselor, and tell all my friends. And i’ll come by as soon as my W-2 comes in the mail.
Shit Hipsters Say. (a good one) Share it if you like it.
Filmed in Richmond!
